Jeffrey plans the wedding, Reva has a test, Lizzie and Bill search for Alan.

At Cross Creek, Reva creeps around before sneaking out. She heads over to Cedars to see the oncologist. After her tests, she meets with Lillian in the waiting room. She's frustrated; she wanted results right away but will have to wait. She's angry; she's planning a wedding right now. As she babbles, Lillian stops her and tells her that she needs to tell Jeffrey. "This is not Josh all over again," Reva insists. She doesn't want to be self-righteous this time; she just feels... she can't finish because she's sick. They rush into the washroom. Reva cleans her face and cries. She admits that's she's scared and breaks down in tears.

Jeffrey wakes up at Cross Creek and peers around, disoriented. When he walks outside, he finds Buzz and offers to hire him to do the catering again. Buzz doesn't believe it, but Jeffrey tells him to write it down. It will be today. "Today today? You hate me or something?" Buzz asks. Jeffrey doesn't even know where the wedding will be. Buzz lists some places but none of them sound right. He drags Buzz away to search for a place. They get in Buzz's car to find it but he spots the place before they even start to drive. Buzz points out that the place Jeffrey has chosen is scheduled for demolition. That doesn't bother Jeffery as long as it's standing today.

Jeffrey meets with a contractor to discuss renting the place, an old house Reva has always admired. He and Buzz bicker about the money. The contractor gets the impression that Jeffrey and Buzz are the couple and opens up to them about his partner and how infuriating he can be. Jeffrey takes Buzz's hand and plays up the charade. "Who am I to say no to true love," the contractor says, allowing them to take the place. The illusion is almost spoiled when a woman asks Jeffrey if he is really going off the market. He covers and seals the deal. Jeffrey tells Buzz that he owes him for this. Buzz is sure that Jeffrey is good for Reva, but teasingly asks him how far he would go to secure this deal.

Reva goes home and finds a note from Jeffrey: "It's happening," he promises in the note. She puts it down. Hawk sticks his head in to tell her that he is leaving town to "take some meetings". She warns him that the people in Hollywood could eat him alive. He asks her if she's having second thoughts about the wedding; is this about Josh? Definitely not, she says. He gives her his blessing, but he needs to know how Jeffrey is different than all the other men she's chosen before. She explains that when she was a little girl and he left, she blamed herself. She needed to feel safe and loved, and that's how Josh made her feel. But when she got sick and recovered, she realized that she didn't need Josh to fill the void in her life; she felt safe and loved all on her own. That's when Jeffrey came into her life. She doesn't need him the way she needed Joshua. "This time the love is different. I chose Jeffery and he chose me," she explains in tears. This time she will make every second count. Hawk breaks into tears and wishes her a lifetime of love and happiness. He promises to be there for her anytime she needs him. Since this may actually be her last wedding, he turns on some music so they can have a final dance.

As Reva takes out her dress, she hears a knock at the door. When she walks outside, she finds an arrow on the ground. She follows it to the next arrow. They lead to the condemned house. She finds Jeffrey hanging out a sign for the O'Neill-Shayne wedding. They kiss. He explains that he's snuck them in before it can be destroyed. "It's perfect," she smiles. "What the hell!" they repeat to each other.

At the mansion, Dinah calls for her brother. Bill's not there but Ashlee is. She brought breakfast too: The leftovers from one of last week's meetings. She tells Dinah that her brother has gone to New York City for some big deal. That's more than Dinah knew.

Later, Dinah finds Alex relaxing in her office. They take swipes at each other. Alex is sure that Dinah will soon appreciate having she and Alan as partners and showing Bill up. She admits that she's been waiting for her own brother's approval since before Dinah was even born. Dinah doesn't want to talk about this but Alex pushes her, telling her that she needs to take charge and do things for herself.

Lizzie walks around the streets of New York. Bill trails behind her. She finds Alan's room and the maid lets her in to wait. She stares down at a picture of herself when she was young and cries. Bill walks in and sits beside her. She tells him it's a picture of her and cries on his shoulder. She asks him why he followed her. "Let's go find your grandfather," he suggests. They walk around the city until he has to buy her a new pair of shoes. They sit down. She continues to worry. He assures her that Alan still has his commons sense and is likely better off than she thinks. He's sure that Alan isn't here for a spiritual journey at all; he's making a play for Maximus. "And that's why you're here!" she accuses. She hits him and walks away.

Bill follows Lizzie back to Alan's room. She doesn't want to hear his charming excuses; she's sure that he is a liar and doesn't care. He's worried that she won't realize that he can't live without her. "It is never going to happen between us!" she says. She has dreamed of them being together in a room like this; a room where they can be equals and there would be nothing to prove to anyone else. He suggests that they can have it if they try harder. She is what he wants more than anything. Long silence.
